Harry Potter and eBooks

J. K. Rowlings, author of the Harry Potter books, will put out her own eBooks. This will be devastating to brick and mortar bookstores, which sold a lot of books for her. She will use her own website here.

E-book sales beat printed books

Amazon is selling more e-books than printed books. Well, I'm buying both types, but I am beginning to prefer e-books. When you finish a printed book, what do you do with it? Shelve it, toss it, give it away? I don't like to shelve books anymore. That's what libraries are for. I have no room.

John Locke is a writer who holds the No. 1 place on the Amazon Top 100 and has sold more than 350,000 downloads on Kindle of his 99 cent books since the start of this year. He is making over $500,000 a year. That's the way to do it! eBooks are not worth $10 or $15! I am going to check him out. See for yourself here.
