Healthwatch reports that House Republicans are getting ready to investigate the AARP for its support of healthcare reform. Indeed. AARP supported cuts in Medicare Advantage plans because they are selling Supplemental Medicare plans, which are more expensive.
We can't let AARP keep on pretending they are an advocate group for seniors when they are really just an insurance company. Nothing wrong with that but they blur the distinction between the two.
